If you wish to copy, redistribute or reprint more than 10% of a Cyber-Dyne, Inc. product manual, you must Submit a Request to use Text.

Ten Percent Rule
Cyber-Dyne, Inc. does not object, and written permission is not required* (See EXCEPTION below), if you use no more than 10% of any Cyber-Dyne, Inc. copyrighted article, document, manual, help file, or other text, provided you follow these guidelines, which may be amended by Cyber-Dyne, Inc. from time to time:
  • EXCEPTION: If you are a publisher there may be cases where these guidelines do not apply to you and you should not rely strictly on these guidelines. Rather you should seek the advice of your own copyright attorney.
  • The use must fall within the definition of "fair use" under International and/or United States copyright law, as applicable. Your own copyright attorney should assist you in determining "fair use".
  • The materials may not be used in a way that is disparaging to Cyber-Dyne, Inc. or any of its products or services, agents or assigns.
  • Use of the materials in a manner that may mislead the public as to Cyber-Dyne, Inc. sponsorship, affiliation or endorsement of your products or services is not allowed.
  • The copyrighted materials may not be used in a way that is in direct conflict with any applicable Cyber-Dyne, Inc. License Agreement (LA) and/or other product documentation which accompanies the copyrighted material.
